How to forward in Gmail

  1. Open your Gmail account on your desktop computer.
  2. Click on the gear icon located in the upper-right corner of your inbox and select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab.
  4. In the “Forwarding” section, click on the “Add a forwarding address” button.
  5. In the pop-up window, enter the email address you want to forward to, in this case, summarize@breef.in, and click on the “Next” button.
  6. Gmail will send a verification email to the email address you entered. summarize@breef.in is programmed to forward this email back to you. Go to your email inbox and open the verification email from summarize@breef.in. Use the code in this email to finish your forwarding process on Gmail.
  7. Once you have verified the forwarding address, return to your Gmail account settings and click on the “Forward a copy of incoming mail to” radio button.
  8. Select the email address you want to forward to, which should be “summarize@breef.in”, from the drop-down menu.
  9. Choose whether you want to keep a copy of forwarded messages in your Gmail inbox or mark them as read and archive them.
  10. Click on the “Save Changes” button to create the forwarding rule.

How to forward in Outlook

  1. Open your Outlook account on your desktop computer.
  2. Click on the gear icon located in the upper-right corner of your inbox and select “View all Outlook settings” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the “Mail” tab and then click on “Forwarding”.
  4. CheckĀ  the box next to “Enable forwarding” and enter the email address you want to forward to, in this case, summarize@breef.in.
  5. Choose whether you want to keep a copy of forwarded messages in your Outlook inbox or not.
  6. Click on the “Save” button to create the forwarding rule.

How to forward in Apple Mail

  1. Open your Apple Mail account on your desktop computer.
  2. Click on the “Mail” menu in the top menu bar and select “Preferences” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the “Accounts” tab.
  4. Select the email account that you want to set up forwarding for.
  5. Click on the “Mailbox Behaviors” tab and then check the box next to “Redirect incoming messages” to turn on forwarding.
  6. Enter the email address you want to forward to, in this case, summarize@breef.in, in the text field next to “Forward messages to”.
  7. Choose whether you want to keep a copy of forwarded messages in your Apple Mail inbox or not.
  8. Click on the “OK” button to save the changes.

How to forward in Thunderbird

  1. Open your Thunderbird account on your desktop computer.
  2. Click on the “Tools” menu in the top menu bar and select “Account Settings” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the email account that you want to set up forwarding for.
  4. Click on the “Copies & Folders” tab.
  5. Check the box next to “Forward a copy of incoming mail to” and enter the email address you want to forward to, in this case, summarize@breef.in.
  6. Choose whether you want to keep a copy of forwarded messages in your Thunderbird inbox or not.
  7. Click on the “OK” button to save the changes.
